Requirement

Fill Metallbau UK required additional site accommodation as the existing canteen and drying room facilities were too small for the number of operatives working on site. The accommodation was needed to improve welfare provision throughout the project, with the units required for a one-year hire period.

The site also presented a significant logistical challenge. The units had to be delivered via a narrow fire access road and craned onto a roof garden, meaning careful planning and the right transport support were essential.

Solution

Rawley Hire supplied five fire-rated cabins, complete with tanks and steps, to provide the additional welfare space required on site.

Rawley was chosen because the team could respond quickly to the client’s requirements and deliver the units despite the complex access restrictions. The client had previously seen Rawley units on another site, and were able to offer fire-rated cabins at a competitive price.

The team worked closely with the client to plan the delivery and positioning of the cabins. Where other suppliers were unable to lift the cabins into position, Rawley identified a practical solution and arranged transport support to place the units exactly where required.
